Terra Nova - 1x12/13 - Occupation/Resistance

So here we are, finally at the end of the season and possibly the series.  It really wasn't a bad show so much as a disappointing show.  There was so much potential in the premise and even in some storylines introduced, but all potential was pretty quickly squandered.  It all came down to this, and once again potential was glossed over.

Terra Nova - 1x11 - Within

The penultimate episode of the the first season (possibly series, it hasn't been picked up).  Next week brings the two hour finale, and I'll finally get to stop watching.  Not that it's been all bad, it's just I definitely would not have kept watching this long if I wasn't writing about it.  I will it admit it was sometimes fun to bust on it, though.

NBC Thursday Comedies - Week 10

Here we are at the final one of these for the year, and unfortunately the final one of these to include Community for the foreseeable future.  Cheer up, though, it's Christmastime!  We get three yuletide flavored episodes this evening, and 30 Rock will be returning in the new year.

NBC Thursday Comedies - Week 9

In what seems to be becoming a tradition for me, this post is waaaaaaaay late.  I suppose a new years resolution should be to be better about getting my posts out on time.  We'll see how well that goes.  Here are my (brief due to lateness) thoughts from NBC lineup from a week and a half ago!

Terra Nova - 1x10 - Now You See Me

We're heading into the home stretch of the first season and you can feel that things are brewing.  The mole in Terra Nova is finally revealed and things are getting closer to a two way connection through the portal.

NBC Thursday Comedies - Week 8

"These episodes aired two week ago!" you may say.  I know, I'm super lazy, what can you do?  Anywho, on to my thoughts on old(ish) episodes!

Terra Nova - 1x08 & 1x09

I can blame the holiday, but I was mostly just lazy about writing this.  So two episodes this time around, both rather quickly.  The second of the two was actually pretty decent, too.

What I'm Thankful for on TV

There are a lot of things that annoy me about the way TV works.  Mostly about how the shows I love do horrible ratings while shows I think are horrible bring in massive amounts of people.  Most recently I discovered that while I think How I Met Your Mother has been going downhill, it's ratings keep going up.  Another one of my favorite gripes is that Parks and Recreation is doing The Office format and feel better than that show ever did, even in it's heyday, and yet The Office still does good ratings and Parks and Rec can barely stay on the air.  They're such compatible shows, I'm completely baffled that they don't pull in exactly the same numbers.  However, there are a number of things that I'm thankful for when it comes to what's on my TV.  Presented after the jump are those very things.  I'm definitely not procrastinating on writing my Terra Nova and NBC Thursday posts, why would you think that?

The Office is once again underwhelming, Park and Rec another gem, and Community has a good one this week.

Terra Nova - 1x07 - Nightfall

Another week another blah episode.  This show is such a disappointment week in and week out.  This week an exploding meteor caused an EMP that wipes out all the electronics in Terra Nova.
